Is the candy buffet considered my favor to my guests?
Yes! A candy Buffet is a yummy way to say thank you to each of your guests for celebrating your special event with you!
Do I need to supply my own Linens for the table/s?
Candies Galore provides complimentary linens to our clients.
Why shouldn't I just do my own candy table?
To start, the work involved in creating a beautiful candy buffet is more work than most people realize. The time spent shopping for a variety of expensive glassware, scoops, tongs, decorations, Custom designing Jars, scoops, tongs, serving towers/plates, and candy labels, buying candy and designing the perfect layout to create a custom candy table is all very time consuming, and you already have enough planning for your special day. :)
How much candy can I expect to receive per guest?
A standard serving size is 4-5 oz per guest. We will provide ample candy to ensure your guests enjoy the display and prevent it from looking too depleted to quickly.
How Old is the Candy?
You may be wondering if we really get asked this question, and the answer is, YES! You can put your mind at ease, because all of the candy we order for your event is specifically ordered just for you! Remember, ALL the leftover candy is bagged and sent home with you!
If we don't want to keep the leftover candy, can you reuse it, and give us a partial refund?
No. All Candy and goodies are purchased specifically for your venue, fresh, for the health and safety of you and your guests. As a result, we are unable to return or reuse any leftover goods.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Candies Galore Delivery is included in the cost of each buffet package for venues within 30 miles of Kenosha, WI. Additional Travel fee of $25 per hour Outside delivery distance.
Does Candies Galore provide the Candy/Treat table/s?
Most Venues supply tables, however we can provide either a 6 or 8 foot table rental for an additional $12 per table.
How do I reserve my date & time?
*Please ensure you have obtained venue approval for a Candy/Treat Buffet.
Candies Galore requires a signed contract and a 30% non-refundable retainer to secure your event date and time. The remaining balance must be paid two weeks before your event. A refundable deposit of $50-150 (depending on package size) is also required for the rental of jars, linens, tables, backdrop, decorations, and or other items. The deposit will be returned upon inspection of returned rental items. Any damaged or missing items will be deducted from the deposit.
*Retainers are non-refundable as you reserve your date and we begin working on your buffet right away.
How long does it take to set up the day of my event?
Candies Galore will arrive to setup your buffet approximately 1-2 hours before your scheduled venue starts, (Some venues allow decorating and set up the day prior your event. If our schedule allows, there is no additional charge for us to set up the day prior) We will return by 11 pm to begin taking down the candy buffet, the day of your event.
After hours pick up is available, however an additional fee of $100 will be charged.
